First Aid

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with five or fewer employees and to the self-employed. Therefore, having a first aid certificate will help you to develop your career opportunities, in addition to equipping you with vital life saving skills.
On completion of the course, participants will receive a Level 2 Award by EDI for Emergency First Aid Appointed Person.
This is one day intensive training course running once a month at Advanced City College.
